The cornerstone of Regina‛s development program, the Foundation‛s Annual Appeal seeks financial support from Regina‛s families, parishioners, alumni, friends, and the greater community. The Appeal provides a steady source of income for pressing needs not met through the school‛s operating budget.
School administrators have indicated they would like to use a portion of the 2012-2013 Annual Appeal funds to purchase new K-12 textbooks and enhanced digital security cameras.

The 2012-2013 Annual Appeal goal is $425,000 and includes these components:
$190,000 Operating Budgets (Regina and its foundation)
$ 80,000 New K-12 Textbooks*
$ 20,000 Enhanced Digital Security Cameras*
$ 75,000 Regina Special Projects and Programs
$ 60,000 Endowment Growth (Teacher Salaries, Tuition
Assistance, Regina General Endowments)
*In an ongoing attempt to limit significant tuition increases for all families, Regina administration reduced the textbook purchase line item in Regina‛s annual operating budget over the past few years. We believe this approach was the most cost-effective way to continue to research the possibilities of online textbooks as well as to purchase texts on an as-needed basis.
This past summer, it became apparent there were a significant number of K-12 textbooks in various subject matters that are outdated and beyond repair. Because the cost to immediately replace this number of texts at once is beyond the scope of Regina‛s operating budget, the administration has prioritized K-12 textbook purchases as a major component of the Foundation‛s 2012-2013 Annual Appeal. Having the Appeal funds as a resource for the purchase of textbooks allows greater flexibility and tuition affordability within Regina‛s budget.
Additionally, new digital security cameras are a priority as our current analog system is outdated. A new system allows web acccess and zooming capability.
